We’re holding an Instructor-only evening at the Barnsley Metrodome on Tuesday 5th November. This is open to instructors from both Barnsley & Dearne Valley Divers.

On the back of the recent BSAC ‘exemplar’ skills videos, the idea is to look at each of the core skills to ensure consistency of delivery::

• Mask Removal
• Reg Recovery
• AAS+ horizontal swim
• CBL
• Rescue Breaths

We’ll meet up at 7:30pm in the Board Room to discuss and dry-run each skill, and discuss/agree any variations. We’ll then head down to the pool for practical demos.

Prior to the 5th, it would be helpful if you could each think of any areas of delivery that are currently unclear or ambiguous.
