Sound of Mull Diving Trip
Iona has booked Lochaline Boat Charters and Morvern Dive Lodge for a Sound of Mull Dive Trip in June 2020.
The dates will be Friday 19th June to Monday 22nd June with an optional stay at Dumbarton Premier Inn on Thursday 18th June.
The Diving is from a hard boat with lift and is for 2 days (Sat/Sun) with 2 dives per day. The accommodation at the Dive Lodge is comfortable with twin rooms and a communal kitchen and living room.
The Diving is predominantly wrecks and some scenic wall dives featuring lots of life and sometimes an Octopus or two!,
The cost of the trip, based on 8 divers is £200 pp for the weekend (£110 for Diving and £90 for 3 nights accommodation) with the Premier Inn usually costing around £50 per room (2 people). Air fills are extra at £5 each. The maximum number of divers is 12, with more reducing the boat cost pp.
We normally do a shore dive or 2 on the Friday en route from Dumbarton to Lochaline.

CLUB TRIP POLICY
This policy is designed to ensure that trips remain financially viable and is fair for all members/guests going on trips arranged by the club. Late cancellation means that extra money has to be paid by others on the trip which is unfair
1. In order to secure a place on a trip a deposit must be paid to the Treasurer. If for any reason a person subsequently cannot go on the trip, then the deposit is not refundable unless the place can be filled by someone else.
2. The final balance must be paid to the treasurer six (6) weeks before the date of the trip. If the final balance is not paid at least four (4) weeks before the date of the trip then the deposit and place on the trip is forfeit. If the place is subsequently filled then the deposit is refunded
3. If a person does not go on the trip having already paid for that trip then all monies paid are forfeited, unless, in the unlikely event that the place can be filled at the last minute.
