Instructors from both Dearne Valley Divers and Barnsley BSAC were at Capernwray today training divers. Lee completed SO1 (Diver rescue) and SO4 (Compass & DSMB), Dan completed SO1, Ryan and Adam completed their Open water dry suit training.
Pool Nights Return and a New Installation
It was an exciting night on Monday for our club members as the pool officially reopened for diving. The equipment officers completed a thorough check and testing of the kit and a small number of divers tested their own gear

Paul Tarn secures BSAC council role
Congratulations to dvd’s Paul Tarn who has been successful in securing a place on the BSAC council and will officially take up the role on 22nd May following the 67th BSAC AGM.
Rainy Day Dive at Capers
Some of our divers made the most of the wet and windy weather by escaping underwater. Excellent dive led by Jessica with some fantastic navigation.
