I’ve been in contact with a mate who’s taking some others to Malta next year – 9th to 16th October. We won’t actually be part of their group as far as the booking is concerned, but will buddy up for drinks etc., as we like and also get their discount in the dive shop. I’ll get prices for that as soon as I can.
Fly from Birmingham, Hotel Mellieha Bay which looks quite nice. 1st Choice are quoting £669/person all inclusive (diving extra) in a twin room.
Minimum qualification SPORTS DIVER – this is a Malta Government requirement if you want to dive without having a Malta guide all the time as we will. I used to register as a Malta Instructor when I went there in the past, but things aren’t that straightforward now! Dive shop is attached to the hotel.
